Very helpful staff and I had great feedback on a problem I'm having with one of my favorite trees.

Susan at Cornellius is one of those people who just gets it. She has an incredible eye and can immediately point out what will work, what won’t, and what you need to pull everything together. I can walk in for one or two yards of ribbon and somehow leave with an entirely new room planned out! Last year, I saw a whole christmas tree she designed and I walked out with the whole tree. No joke.
And her bows are amazing but she does so much more than that. When it comes to holiday styling, I truly don’t think there’s anyone better. She takes the time to ask the questions, and to understand the look I’m going for, and then helps me put together exactly what I need. I never feel like she’s just trying to sell me more stuff. Instead, she genuinely wants me to walk out with the right pieces and holiday styling kits to make everything work once I get home. Susan really was spot on for picking out both my indoor and outdoor fall gear this year.
Susan has helped me countless times, and I always leave with better ideas than I came in with. She’s creative, talented, patient, and just really, really good at what she does. Like the skills she has is a life’s work, not just anyone can do what she does. Regarding the register, the 3 at the front are well trained— Kathleen I can rely on. For real. Tiffany & Rachel are outstanding. Good customer service. Whoever said this store isnt for the public, is an idiot. The public can shop here freely. I go in weekly.

Respectfully,

Jennifer L Wedekind

I cannot tell you how much I love this place. They literally have everything you could ever need for indoor and outdoor plants, soil, fertilizer, and more. Every plant I’ve gotten from here has done AMAZING.
The staff is super friendly and helpful, and their prices are extremely reasonable. Drive past any other nursery, garden center, or plant store in Houston and come straight here.

Most beautiful nursery I have ever visited. Very beautiful trees and shrubs and extremely courteous and helpful staff. I had expected it to be pricey and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't!

Wonderful nursery with an amazing selection! Staff is extremely helpful and if you’re looking for something and they do t have it, it might just not exist. Prices are fair and getting in and out of this establishment is super easy. Whether you’re looking for perennials, annuals, evergreens, ceramics or soils they have you covered. I even saw a sign that they will do the planting for you if you have the extra funds and or lack of time. Check them out, you just may find something that’ll grow on you. 🌱

i am new to houston. i’ve been to multiple nurseries/big box stores looking to beautify our patio with plants. cornelius by far has the best selection of plants and pots at fair prices. in addition, the service is outstanding. today i worked with rachel. she knows her stuff. she is patient. she is a star!
